I got now your problems.But it seems that, you might had done twice or over the same mistake.
It is the so cold ‘char-set problem’,as I said also about your made page. See may home page, you can see the statement;”(caution! main locales; euc-jp,shift-jis,iso-2022-jp,check it,please! )” ,as you know. You may understand this matter actually.
When we use make our HTML or programs, they can use only one code. Please remember;’No handling pleural codes.’
So, They have to choice with which they can make sentences. Ordinally, they who use Windows or Mac machine, use ‘utf-8’. But I made my home page with code `euc-jp`,because my machines are not Macs nor Windows. My contents on my pages are now huge. I will not change the code ,EUC-JP. See the header of our page, I said you repeatedly,

You have to write clearly the 6 th sentences above. You can see the comment; ‘charset＝euc-jp’ .
It’s necessary. If there is not the comment, you have to add that.(Pastly ,they are not necessary that statement. So, you might be able to find it out ,in very old HTMS pages.)
And you have to write your sentences with asci-code not with UTF code.
Then,your writing application that you alwas use have to be set with euc-jp code. Perhaps, you can choice in the environmental setting(“環境設定”）of your writing application.
So, you make your homepage on using euc-code with your writing application with euc-code.
The structural problem between euc(ASCI code) and UTF code. Though UTF code (ordinally using in Win or Mac machines) handles 8bits for character-making, but ASCI code use only 7 bits for character. So, To exchange both codes, involving uncertain bugs.
So, let’s summarize;(See also WIKI’s two titles, ‘ASCII’ and ‘UTF-8’)
1 Check your HTML making application; wether the application uses UTF code or not. If so ,you have to change the environmental setting to EUC-jp.
Again ,my homepage are using EUC-jp,one of ASC-codes,NEVER USE UTF-8. Why? you could now guess the matter,actually.
2 Check your HTML message have the statement; the 6th statement above.
3 Other; You don’t forget, on making your sentences, wether you type english sentence with using ‘Zenkaku(全角)’. You have to use only ‘hankaku ei su (半角英数)‘
They do not have to allow
the Zenkaku for making programs or mark-up language. It induces astray problem. You cannot use double-byte characters into your making applications or HTMLs.
You make sentences perfectly and you can load them up and down on using ftp program,but don’t forget such problems above. Check it firstly and try it again. Surely I concern into the COVID-19 handling now. It is very hard time for me as a senile doctor, but you can contact with me always.
